Human Leukocyte Associated Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human LAIR2 (Leukocyte Associated Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 2) in serum, plasma, urine, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format. An antibody specific for LAIR2 is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-LAIR2 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a coloured product that turns yellow after stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is below 5.6 pg/ml, with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components include a lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl) and Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Components should not be used past the expiration date.

Dilution linearity has been reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Reported recoveries at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%. Overall recovery ranges across the same matrices are 80%-102% (serum, average 91%), 81%-100% (EDTA plasma, average 90%), and 80%-89% (heparin plasma, average 84%).
