Human Leukocyte Associated Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human LAIR1 (Leukocyte Associated Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) on which an antibody specific for LAIR1 has been immobilised, and it is read on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Standards and samples are added to the wells, and following incubation the wells are washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-LAIR1 Antibody that binds the captured analyte. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added; TMB substrate visualises the HRP reaction as a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The absorbance is read at 450 nm and the LAIR1 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.109 ng/ml, the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5, 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 80%-89%, average 84%).
