Human Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Receptor ELISA Kit

An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com, this Human LIFR ELISA Kit uses a sandwich format designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human LIFR in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the antibody-coated wells, then incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-LIFR Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution produces a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of the stop solution, with the intensity proportional to the amount of LIFR captured. The concentration is calculated from the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of <0.131 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
