Human Leucine Rich Repeat LGI Family, Member 3 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human LGI3 (Leucine Rich Repeat LGI Family, Member 3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for LGI3 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-LGI3 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then added, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; the colour intensity is proportional to the LGI3 concentration in each well and is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. The assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and the product is intended for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
