Human Leucine Aminopeptidase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Leucine Aminopeptidase (LAP3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for LAP3 immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, the wells are washed, and captured LAP3 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-LAP3 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to the amount of LAP3 captured. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <1.8 ng/ml and a working range of 4.68–300 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product must not be used past its expiration date.
