Human Leptin Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Leptin Receptor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-Leptin Receptor antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose intensity is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of <0.29 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery in undiluted samples (n=5 per matrix) is reported as 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
