Human Leprecan Like Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human LEPREL1 (Leprecan Like Protein 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with antibody specific for LEPREL1 immobilised on the wells. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-LEPREL1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative sandwich assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.063 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery values across five replicates were 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-101%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity data is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
