Human Lectin Galactoside Binding, Soluble 3 Binding Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Lectin Galactoside Binding, Soluble 3 Binding Protein (LGALS3BP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for LGALS3BP and uses a biotinylated anti-LGALS3BP detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate to form the antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and quantified by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a stated measuring range of 1.25–80 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.47 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. In manufacturer validation (n=5), measured values in serum ranged from 80–102% with an average of 91%, in EDTA plasma from 81–101% with an average of 91%, and in heparin plasma from 80–89% with an average of 84%. Dilutional linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 87–91% / 87–107% / 74–101% / 92–97%, 90–105% / 84–101% / 90–101% / 79–108%, and 84–95% / 92–105% / 82–105% / 89–91% respectively.
