Human Large Neutral Amino Acid Transporter 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SLC7A5/LAT1, also known as Large Neutral Amino Acid Transporter 1. The kit is intended for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids and is built on a pre-coated 96-well microplate read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Capture by an immobilised antibody is followed by a biotinylated anti-SLC7A5/LAT1 detection antibody, with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate producing a yellow chromophore whose absorbance is proportional to the target concentration when referenced against the standard curve.

Sensitivity is reported at 0.056 ng/ml, with a quantitative assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a stated run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80%-102%, mean 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, mean 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, mean 84%, n=5), and dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in those same matrices.
