A sandwich ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Laminin Receptor 1 (also referred to as 67kDa Laminin Receptor) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate and uses a colorimetric detection method, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <29 pg/ml and a working standard curve range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. In the procedure, standards and samples are captured by an immobilised antibody specific for 67kDa Laminin Receptor, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-67kDa Laminin Receptor Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated using a TMB substrate solution, which produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of 67kDa Laminin Receptor in the well.

Reported average recovery in spiked samples is 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same matrices. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers, with storage temperatures of either +4°C or -20°C depending on the component.
