Human Lamin A/C ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Lamin A + Lamin C in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with captured analyte detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Lamin A + Lamin C Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colourmetric signal is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reactivity is Human.

Quoted performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Reported recovery values across n=5 samples per matrix are an average of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Sample dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 gives reported recovery ranges of: serum 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%; EDTA plasma 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%; heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%.
