The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and employs a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, with a sensitivity of <0.32 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml.
