Human Kruppel Like Factor 5, Intestinal ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Kruppel Like Factor 5 (KLF5) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human KLF5 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

Assays are carried out on a pre-coated 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells; KLF5 is captured by the immobilised antibody and detected with a biotinylated anti-KLF5 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The reaction is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. The total assay time is reported as 4 hours 30 minutes.

Quoted performance values include a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery in spiked samples was 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma, each at n=5. Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, with recoveries of 74%–107% in serum, 79%–108% in EDTA plasma, and 82%–105% in heparin plasma (n=5 per sample type). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
