Human Kisspeptin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Kisspeptin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Kisspeptin. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Kisspeptin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 12.9 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. The platform comprises a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format. Manufacturer-quoted recovery values across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma range broadly between 74% and 108% depending on sample type and dilution.
