Human Kininogen 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Kininogen 1 ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro determination of human Kininogen 1 in plasma. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and relies on a colorimetric readout, with absorbance measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The workflow involves adding standards and test samples to the coated wells, where target is captured by the immobilised antibody, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Kininogen 1 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product intensity is proportional to Kininogen 1 concentration and is quantified against a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer's specification sheet, the assay covers a range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <31 pg/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery averages reported for serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and heparin plasma (n=5) are 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, with linearity of dilution demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions.
