Human Kinesin Family, Member 20A ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Kinesin Family, Member 20A (KIF20A) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for KIF20A pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where KIF20A is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, the wells are incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-KIF20A Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of KIF20A is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit delivers a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.049 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
