Human Kinesin Family, Member 14 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human KIF14 (Kinesin Family, Member 14) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

The kit is built around a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a Biotinylated Anti-KIF14 detection antibody with HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the colour reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader; the intensity of yellow product is proportional to the amount of KIF14 captured in each well and is quantified against the standard curve. Sensitivity is 0.126 ng/ml, the working range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the full assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery was validated with five replicates per matrix, giving averages of 91% in serum (range 83–100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions covered 73–110% in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
