Human Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human KIR3DL1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips). An antibody specific for KIR3DL1 is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-KIR3DL1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, the reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.051 ng/ml, the total assay time is 4h 30m, and detection is colourimetric. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The kit has been validated for recovery in human serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=5), with average recoveries of 91% (range 80%-102%) in serum, 91% (range 81%-101%) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80%-89%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types. The kit is suitable for use with cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
