Human Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 2DS4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human KIR2DS4 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated anti-KIR2DS4 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance specifications include a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m, and sample KIR2DS4 concentrations are calculated by interpolating O.D. values against a standard curve.

Sample recovery has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5), with average recoveries ranging from 84% to 91%. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions is also reported. Kit components are supplied with storage temperatures of either +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
