Human Keratin 9 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytokeratin 9 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The pre-coated microplate is immobilised with an antibody specific for Cytokeratin 9; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Cytokeratin 9 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with the intensity of the yellow colour proportional to the amount of Cytokeratin 9 captured in each well.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.057 ng/ml and the assay range as 0.156–10 ng/ml. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Components must not be used past the expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery values are: serum, n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma, n=5, range 81–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma, n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum (74–107%), EDTA plasma (79–108%), and heparin plasma (82–105%).
