Human Keratin 18 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytokeratin 18 (Keratin 18) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips, with an immobilised antibody specific for Cytokeratin 18, a Biotinylated Anti-Cytokeratin 18 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate for colourmetric detection at 450 nm.

The product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of 7.3 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery in neat samples (n=5) has been measured at 83%-100% (average 91%) for serum, 90%-103% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 89%-102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Linearity upon dilution has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components include a lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures between +4°C and -20°C as instructed, and readout on a colourmetric microplate reader.

Reactivity is human, and the application is sandwich ELISA.
