Human Keratin 16 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cytokeratin 16/K16 (also referred to as Keratin 16) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The reported sensitivity is <0.063 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing, average recoveries were 91% in serum (n=5, range 83–100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90–103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 89–102%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated in serum (79–110%), EDTA plasma (73–109%) and heparin plasma (77–110%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
