From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human KAZALD1 (Kazal Type Serine Protease Inhibitor Domain Containing Protein 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and employs a biotinylated anti-KAZALD1 antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate; the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader is proportional to the amount of KAZALD1 captured in each well.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.115 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Average recovery values across replicates are provided for serum (91%, range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma (91%, range 81%–101%), and heparin plasma (84%, range 80%–89%).
