Human Kallikrein 7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Kallikrein 7/KLK7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which an antibody specific for Kallikrein 7/KLK7 captures the analyte from standards and test samples. A Biotinylated Anti-Kallikrein 7/KLK7 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are added in sequence, with bound analyte visualised using TMB substrate solution. The colour reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Kallikrein 7/KLK7 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and sensitivity is 0.065 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5), with linearity assessed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in each sample matrix.
