Human Kallikrein 14 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Kallikrein 14 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.

The reported sensitivity is <0.044 ng/ml and the standard curve covers an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Detection is colorimetric: Kallikrein 14 is captured by an immobilised antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-Kallikrein 14 antibody and HRP-avidin, and visualised using TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Average recovery values supplied by the manufacturer are 91% for serum (n=5, range 83–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90–103%) and 95% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 89–102%). Linearity has been evaluated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 per matrix).
