Human Juxtanodin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ERMN/Juxtanodin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and pre-coated with an antibody specific for ERMN/Juxtanodin. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-ERMN/Juxtanodin Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of ERMN/Juxtanodin is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) returned ranges of 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-99% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) gave 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
