Human Junctional Adhesion Molecule 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Junctional Adhesion Molecule 3 (JAM-C) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The standard curve covers an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml, and the full protocol takes approximately 4h 30m.

The workflow uses a biotinylated anti-JAM-C detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product is quantified against the standard curve. Reported mean recovery across n=5 replicates is 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity is demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (each n=5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated on the individual items.
