Description
The Antibodies.com Human Junction Plakoglobin (also known as gamma Catenin) ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Junction Plakoglobin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using a biotinylated anti-gamma Catenin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450nm.
Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been validated in serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%) across n=5 samples. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
