Human Jagged 2 Protein ELISA Kit

The sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Jagged 2/JAG2 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Jagged 2/JAG2. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the analyte is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Jagged 2/JAG2 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Following further incubation and washing, TMB substrate is added; the resulting blue product turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450nm.

Reported sensitivity is <0.118 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric, the platform is a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Sample recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 for each), with reported recovery ranges varying by sample type and dilution.
