Human Isoleucyl tRNA Synthetase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Isoleucyl tRNA Synthetase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips). A biotinylated anti-Isoleucyl tRNA Synthetase antibody binds the captured analyte, and an HRP-avidin conjugate is then added. Following incubation and washing, TMB substrate is used to produce a colour reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader; the resulting absorbance is proportional to analyte concentration and is quantified against a standard curve. The standard assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The calibrated product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.108 ng/ml.

Spike-and-recovery was assessed in five replicates per matrix: serum yielded 80%–102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma 81%–100% averaging 90%; and heparin plasma 80%–89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
