Human Isocitrate Dehydrogenase 2, mitochondrial ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human IDH2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with IDH2 captured by an immobilised antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-IDH2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate generates a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to the IDH2 concentration; absorbance is read at 450 nm. The standard curve covers 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery averaged 91% for serum (80%–102% range), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%–100% range) and 84% for heparin plasma (80%–89% range) across n=5 per matrix.
