Human Interleukin 7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA produced by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IL-7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The workflow uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to antibody-coated wells, captured IL-7 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-7 Antibody, and HRP-Avidin is then added. TMB substrate is catalysed to produce a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and IL-7 concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The reported product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml and sensitivity is <5.7 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m and the plate is read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Recovery data: serum 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5); EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5); heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5). Linearity at 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage between +4°C and -20°C as instructed.
