Human Interleukin-7 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin-7 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant. The kit applies a quantitative sandwich immunoassay using a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody specific for IL-7, with detection via Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) and a TMB substrate solution, read spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 2 nm.

The assay detects both natural and recombinant human IL-7 and has shown no cross-reactivity with other cytokines tested. Reported sensitivity is < 1 pg/ml, with an assay range of 1.5–50 pg/ml. Two calibration diluents are included — Calibrator Diluent I for serum/plasma testing and Calibrator Diluent II for cell culture supernatant testing — allowing the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus IL-7 concentration (pg/mL).

The kit ships and is stored at 4°C. Total assay time is 3h 30m, with colorimetric detection on a microplate reader platform.
