Human Interleukin 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IL-4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells where IL-4 is captured by the immobilised antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-IL-4 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow colour read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with IL-4 concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.5 pg/ml and a total run time of approximately 4h 30m.
