Human Interleukin 34 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin 34 (IL-34) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

According to the source specifications, the standard curve covers a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of 5.9 pg/ml. The assay requires approximately 4 hours 30 minutes to complete. An antibody specific for IL-34 is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-IL-34 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the yellow intensity read against the standard curve to calculate IL-34 concentration.

Spike-and-recovery testing on five replicates per matrix yielded ranges of 83%-100% (average 91%) for serum, 91%-98% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 90%-99% (average 94%) for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as directed in the accompanying manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
