Human Interleukin 22 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin 22 (IL-22). The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reported performance specifications include a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 6.0 pg/ml, a 4 hour 30 minute assay time, and detection on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm using the supplied pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.

The assay uses an IL-22-specific capture antibody pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-IL-22 antibody and then an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate visualises the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the yellow intensity is read at 450 nm and the IL-22 concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Supplied components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
