Human Interleukin 2 Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin 2 Receptor Alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, with bound target detected using a biotinylated anti-IL-2 Receptor alpha antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a coloured product whose absorbance, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to target concentration.

Quoted sensitivity is less than 0.051 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in serum averages 91% (range 80–102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81–100%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80–89%, n=5). Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
