Human Interleukin 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human IL-2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the quantitative determination of human IL-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for IL-2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and bound IL-2 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-IL-2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The assay has a standard curve range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.6 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery in tested samples was 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity values provided for each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
