Human Interleukin 18 Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin 18 Receptor 1 (IL-18R1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-IL-18R1 detection antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with the full protocol completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing gave an average recovery of 91% from serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 91% from EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, n=5) and 84% from heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for all three sample matrices.
