Human Interleukin-16 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Interleukin-16 ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich immunoassay intended for the in vitro determination of human Interleukin-16 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated monoclonal antibody on a 12 x 8 well strip microplate, with HRP-conjugated monoclonal antibody and TMB substrate used for detection.

The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human IL-16 and has shown no cross-reactivity with other cytokines tested. Sensitivity is reported as < 20 pg/ml, with an assay range of 20-3200 pg/ml. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated with sulphuric acid and the colour change measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm.

Two calibrator diluents are supplied (Calibrator Diluent I for serum/plasma testing and Calibrator Diluent II for cell culture supernatant testing), and the included standard is diluted 2-fold with the appropriate diluent to produce a standard curve. The kit is shipped and stored at 4°C, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.
