Human Interleukin-15 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin-15 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant, with reactivity confirmed for human samples. The assay has shown no cross-reactivity with other cytokines tested and can detect both natural and recombinant human IL-15.

The kit uses a quantitative sandwich immunoassay format on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody specific for IL-15 and an Avidin-HRP detection system employing TMB substrate. Color development is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 2 nm after termination with sulphuric acid. Two calibration diluents are supplied: Calibrator Diluent I for serum/plasma testing and Calibrator Diluent II for cell culture supernatant testing.

The product range is 10-2000 pg/ml and the sensitivity is < 10 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 3h 30m. The kit is shipped and stored at 4°C and read on a colorimetric microplate reader.
