Human Interleukin 13 Receptor Alpha 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IL-13 Receptor alpha 2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for IL-13 Receptor alpha 2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. After addition of standards and test samples, captured IL-13 Receptor alpha 2 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IL-13 Receptor alpha 2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution, and absorbance is measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The standard curve covers 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.129 ng/ml. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips), is read on a colorimetric microplate reader, and has an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is not to be used past its expiration date.
