Human Interleukin 10 ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human interleukin-10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for IL-10 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; bound IL-10 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IL-10 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, generating a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The concentration of IL-10 is calculated by reference to a standard curve. The stated assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <11.3 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5) 83-100%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-103%, average 96%; heparin plasma (n=5) 89-102%, average 95%.
