Human Interleukin 1 Receptor Type I ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human IL-1 Receptor I (IL-1R-1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit is intended for use with human samples and provides a quantitative, colourimetric readout.

An antibody specific for IL-1 Receptor I/IL-1R-1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and the captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IL-1 Receptor I/IL-1R-1 Antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The stated product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.049 ng/ml. The assay is completed in 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and the manufacturer provides recovery data for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
