Human Interleukin 1 Receptor Associated Kinase 4 ELISA Kit

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a biotinylated anti-IRAK4 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised with TMB substrate that yields a yellow product proportional to the amount of IRAK4 captured in each well. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and concentrations are calculated from a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, with the kit not to be used past its expiration date.

The reported assay range is 1.56-100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.53 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery performance across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma averaged 91%, 90% and 84% respectively over five replicates, while dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same sample types ranged from 74% to 108%.
