Human Interleukin 1 Receptor Associated Kinase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin 1 Receptor Associated Kinase 1 (IRAK-1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for IRAK-1 is pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and test samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-IRAK-1 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is 0.105 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery across five replicates averaged 91% for serum (range 80% - 102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81% - 100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80% - 89%). Dilution linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions. Results are read on a colorimetric microplate reader.
