Human Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with standards and samples added so that IL-1RA is captured by an immobilised antibody.

After washing, a biotinylated anti-IL-1RA antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is then read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Stated assay characteristics include a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <12.2 pg/ml, with an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
