Human Interleukin 1 Beta ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) is read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a standard microplate reader.

The assay covers a range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <12.8 pg/ml, and the standard protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery across n=5 samples is 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B (120 μl each), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
