Human Interferon Regulatory Factor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interferon Regulatory Factor 1 (IRF1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids [S1][S2]. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for IRF1 immobilised on the wells; captured IRF1 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IRF1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader [S1][S2].

The quantitative assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.117 ng/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m [S1][S2]. Manufacturer validation reports recovery averaging 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%); linearity was assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma [S1][S2].

Supplied reagents include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, with individual components stored between +4°C and −20°C as instructed by the manufacturer [S1][S2].
