Human Interferon Gamma Induced Protein 10kDa ELISA Kit

An Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Interferon Gamma Induced Protein 10kDa (IP10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for IP10. Standards and samples are added to the wells and IP10 present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-IP10 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting blue-coloured product turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of IP10 is calculated from the standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Quantitative performance characteristics include a measuring range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 12.4 pg/ml. Recovery testing showed serum values of 83-100% (average 91%, n=5); EDTA plasma 90-103% (average 96%, n=5); heparin plasma 89-102% (average 95%, n=5). Detection is performed on a colorimetric microplate reader.
